Many heroin addicts don’t look like the down and out characters we see on tv. They are the girl/guy who lives next door. You only see the obvious ones, the ones who hit bottom years ago and just stayed there and they don’t have the financial resources. But there are a large number of heroin addicts who have people supporting them and so you don’t see it so easily.
