A&E Intervention - Marie Pt.1

A Sophia Loren look-alike, Marie was born into an Italian mob family. When her parents’ marriage end, Marie and her mother struggled with extreme poverty. Marie’s three marriages ended in divorce, but she was still determined to give her children what she didn’t have growing up. Despite her own unhappy love life, she became a highly successful matchmaker and well known socialite. She even appeared on shows like 60 Minutes. Then Marie met her fourth husband, Bora, an addict and alcoholic. Marie tried to clean him up, but developed her own addiction to alcohol. Bora’s alcoholism killed him, and now Marie is headed down the same road–fast. Marie’s family knows an intervention is her last hope.

I know that, I’ve been there several times, but the ones that do are super cool. It’s the same thing with people from Boston, Jersey, all over. People always tripped out over my accent when I was out west & here people say I sound like a Yankee. I didn’t think I had an accent, lol. It’s the same for me I guess, I like to hear different dialects & inflections, it’s cool. Most people in the South don’t sound like Jeff Foxworthy, but that’s what people think of when they think of Southerners.

    i don’t disagree …
i don’t disagree completely. people usually do start off smoking weed and then graduate to other drugs. However saying smoking weed will just eventually lead to harder drugs is stupid. There are plenty of people that smoke weed, and stick to that and only that. People who are easily tempted and are looking for an escape (whether they realize it at the time or not) are the people who graduate to harder drug use. Id say at least 80% of addicts had a dysfunctional childhood, or a traumatic event

    It can and will …
It can and will cause extreme paranoia and other mental health issues. You are more at risk of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder, Obsessive complusive disorder (which, take it from a front liner, is no walk in the park). Im not having ago im just correcting a lack of knowledge. I used to smoke weed. It does have medicinal properties, but we’re not ill.

    Don’t bother …
Don’t bother arguing with a weed smoker dude They never seem to understand how chasing a high in itself is addictive or can lead to harder drugs until make the leap and fuck-up their lives. Everyone of the people on these shows were weed smokers at some point, but the math never adds up for them for some reason.

    Let’s see. Weed has …
Let’s see. Weed has caused no deaths, it is not physically addictive, it does not damage organs (except lungs if smoking but so do cigarettes), it doesn’t turn you violent and reckless, and it actually has many medicinal properties. Yeah, we sure do make lots of “excuses.” Too bad that those are scientific facts…
