However, she’s hiding a dark and raging addiction to alcohol that threatens the family’s stability. I agree. Yes bad …
I agree. Yes bad things happen to people everyday and it is awful, but at some point YOU have to say “Im not going to let it run my life for another minute and I will be accountable for my actions”. Everyone can justify bad behavior by some incident in their past , but it doesnt make it right, healthy, or acceptable.

I know someone very close to me who’s family was torn apart from substance abuse. Whatever though, you can go back to defending this hag on your own. I don’t need to feel better about myself, so spare me the cyber psychoanalysis. I might need to if I was a pathetic drunk like her. You’re somebody with no concept of personal accountability. Yeah, and its called lack of willpower. How do you think she got there to that point in the first place? About her being molested…cop-out. Life is tough and how you respond to adversity is the measure of character, and she showed her true colors. I don’t want her to die because she’s a drunk, but because she abandoned her family and treated them like . I went through some rough when I was a kid, but I can still drink in moderation. Again, I feel no pity for her. Sorry.

Addiction is not a disease. Its a lack of self-control, selfish unwillingness to give up something, and disregard for those who love and care about that person. The lady should’ve just grown a set and given up the booze for her family’s sake. Too late now…I’m glad the guy divorced the worthless .
