Leslie is a mother of three kids and a prominent member of the community. She volunteers her time at her children’s school and at the local church. However, she’s hiding a dark and raging addiction to alcohol that threatens the family’s stability. After many encounters with the law because of her addiction, can Leslie finally choose her family over alcohol with the help of an intervention?

hopefully everything stays good.. no kid of any age should have to deal with that level of selfishness from a parent. But without the booze, you probably find that she’s nowhere near as selfish as she was in this video. She’ll apologize to you someday, if she hasn’t already. If she stays sober, things will get better and better.

I agree Heavyheartz. That would be about the only good this wretched ever did good for her children. People like her make me want to puke. I wish I could be there to laugh at her as she takes her final dying breaths when cirrhosis of the liver eliminates this piece of trash from the human race. She chose the bottle over her family. If I were her kids, I wouldn’t even go to the funeral…well other than to on her grave.

I know he means well, but the husband is dumb as a mud fence. They know that the living situation is temporary. He should supply her with vodka instead of letting her poison herself with the chemicals in mouthwash. The kids should have been gone when she moved in. He is inadvertently exascerbating the whole situation. She is an alcoholic, and she is not going to respond to reason. Her friend Leslie is grandstanding too.

But in just this little scene it went beyond me why did he leave it in the table, Is just like leaving a million dollars on the table…. he was testing her to see if she would be able to control herself and go to sleep… but she is an addict!!!, there was no way in she was going to let it go

Haven’t been around an addict before, have you? That’s a fantastic suggestion, but an addict just gets more. Short of locking them up & throwing away the key, which doesn’t solve the root problem, emptying their drug of choice never solves anything.
That being said, there’s no way in her husband or friends should be buying her anything. Period.

What she did will forever impact the lives of her children. They will always be broken. Both my father and mother were alcoholics. It destroyed all but one of my five brothers and sisters. I’m the only one that really survived.
