I like to have one or two 16 oz beers after work, but i have started to gain a big beer belly. Are there any exercises I can do to specifically keep this weight off without cutting out my couple of beers? I understand I am an alcoholic, I just don’t want to be a fat one.
Drink light beer and do it while you are jogging.
How can I keep weight off and drink a moderate amount of beer?

Go for a daily or bi-daily run around the block!

Running and jogging / light and ultra light beer
The problem is that beer has carbs and calories that are in excess to your food etc.
You take on C&C and they have to do something…. store or be used up.
Since carbs will turn into storage faster than a moo-dest-goose… it is a great idea to switch to a ultra beer and add moderate exercise to your life.
Running and swimming is great… chopping wood is good too. Look up the chart that has activity vs calorie out put per hour and then pick what you want to do.
Keep in mind that sit ups and crunchies don’t work… they will however make the abs stronger and poke out more.
Switch your beer and exercise to burn calories.

Weight contains yeast which in men is stored by the body as fat for emergencies and therefore is hard to lose it. I would try exercising for 30-40 minutes every morning, first thing before you eat. When you do this your body doesn’t have a store of glycogen for it to burn so it is forced to break down the fat for energy. It is ok and recommended to drink water before, during, and after your workout.
